Contract Sweeping is a South East Queensland commercial cleaning contractor owned by Mark Scull, who has over 30 years in the industry. Operating since 2017 from a depot at Cornubia in Logan, trading as a division of Sweepers Pty Ltd. We run sweeper, scrubber and pressure-cleaning machines on contract for warehouses, car parks, factories, retail centres and roads.

Contract Sweeping is owned and run by Mark Scull, who has more than 30 years in commercial and industrial cleaning across South East Queensland.
Thirty years means the estimating comes from experience rather than a calculator. Mark has quoted, scheduled and personally run machines on the site types this business cleans every week — warehouses, car parks, factory floors, transport yards, construction access and council roads — and that is why the advice on this site is direct about when a machine is the wrong answer.

How we actually work
Every site starts with a walk. We look at the surface, measure the areas, note the access window and the traffic, and tell you which machine suits it — including when the answer is a smaller machine, a different frequency, or nothing at all. Quoting off a photo or a floor plan produces a number that changes later, and nobody wants that.
From there it is a schedule. The same operator runs your site wherever possible, because someone who has been there knows where the gates are, which bays fill first and which corner always collects the grit. Contract work rewards familiarity more than anything else.
Sites are quoted at route rates when they sit on an existing run. That is why we are direct about where our runs go: a site on a scheduled day costs less to service than the same site treated as a standalone callout, and we would rather group the work than charge you for the drive.
What a salesperson will not tell you
Machine sweeping is not the right tool for everything. Heavy wet clay, bulk spillage and deep-cleaning unsealed surfaces are jobs for other equipment, and we say so rather than book a machine that will underperform.
Frequency moves the price more than machine size does. Most sites that feel like they need a bigger machine actually need a shorter cycle — a fortnightly sweep on a site generating weekly debris will always look like it has failed.
Hire can beat contracting. If you have a trained operator and enough daily work to keep a machine busy, owning or hiring one costs less than paying a contractor to attend. We explain that trade-off on our knowledge page rather than hiding it.

Are you insured?
Yes — public liability and workers compensation. Certificates of currency are emailed the same day you ask.
Do your operators get site inducted?
Yes. Operators complete your induction before first attendance and work to your traffic-management and WHS requirements on every visit.

Do you do one-off cleans or contracts only?
Both. Contract work is what we are built around and what prices best, but we do one-off and pre-handover cleans as well.
